FOUNDER AND EDUCATOR
Beke Beau has been working in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. She began her career in New York City working for make-up mogul Laura Geller and then Kimara Ahnert. During her time freelancing for these two well-known artists, Beke earned her Bachelors Degree from Hunter College and then a Master’s Degree from Harvard University. Following grad school, Beke worked in non-profit education administration and testing.
A born teacher, Beke understands what it means to approach learning with passion and focus. Her main areas of expertise are in make-up for photography, video and special events including weddings, and in business development and personal branding.
After ten years in the Philadelphia market, Beke has established herself as one of the top make-up artists in the region. She has been named “Best of Philly” twice by Philadelphia Magazine, “Best of the Main Line,” twice by Main Line Today Magazine, “Best of Style” by Philadelphia Style Magazine, “Editor’s Choice” by Brides Magazine, and in 2017, was honored to receive a national award, “Excellence in Make-up” by Wedding International Professionals Association. Her work has been seen on the covers of Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, Delaware/Main Line Bride Magazine, New Jersey Bride Magazine and Main Line Today Magazine, and in the pages of many others, including The New Yorker, People and Allure Magazines.
Beke also has an impressive list of celebrity clients, including actors Jordana Brewster, Ali Larter, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Gemma Chan, Joel Edgerton, James Earl Jones, and Martin Short. She has worked on the weddings of Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joey McIntyre and author Jennifer Weiner.
